How do you know if you’re choosing the right real estate agent or team to represent you? To find the right fit, there are a few things you should look out for and a few things you should ask.
For example, is the agent full-time or part-time? If they are only part-time, it’s possible they don’t really have the time to look out for you and your best interests or make sure you get the best deal possible.
A full-time agent, on the other hand, understands market trends, cycles, what’s happening on a day-to-day basis. Working with a full-time agent ensures you can react quickly to the market.
Does the agent have a lot of experience or are they new? An agent that is brand-new will make a lot of mistakes early on because they are still learning the business. You don’t want to be a new agent’s guinea pig.
Do they have a plan of action, or a step-by-step process? If they don’t have one, they’re basically just a ship without a rudder.
Furthermore, does the agent have team support? If they do, you can feel confident your transaction will be handled correctly and you’ll actually enjoy the process.
Lastly, does the agent truly have your best interests in mind? You’ll be able to answer that question based on the answers to the previous questions, or you can give us a call for a more detailed list.
