    Jersey Shore Beach ‘n Boat Fishing Tournament-  Runs through Nov. 30th

    The Jersey Shore Beach ‘n Boat Fishing Tournament is a season-long, inshore, multi-species fishing tournament that challenges anglers of all skill levels to compete for cash prizes. It runs annually from April 1 through November 30 and is open to anglers of all ages. Enjoy fishing anywhere in NJ salt water.     Seafood & Music Festival- October 8th

    The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce will host a FREE street fair from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. along Atlantic Avenue between Wildwood and Schellenger Avenues in Wildwood. The festival will feature 2 stages of live music featuring Animal House, The Who Knows Band, 99 Reasons, and Club Phred, plus crafters, food vendors, games, a pie eating contest and much more! A “Kids Korner” with activities including pumpkin painting, crab hat making and inflatable bounce houses will take place from noon – 5 p.m. 609.729.4000 or

    Fabulous ’50s & Beyond Celebration- October 15th

    Friday night features a Nifty ’50s Dance Party with The Cameos at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 7 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 plus tax per person. A FREE street fair will take place at Fox Park in Wildwood on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. featuring classic cars, food and craft vendors, a Doo Wop Bus Tour, and live entertainment. Saturday night features a star-studded concert in the Wildwoods Convention Center featuring Bobby Rydell, Little Anthony & The Imperials, and Shirley Alston Reeves, along with special guest the Tee Tones. Tickets are $49.50 plus tax for stadium seating or $65.50 plus tax for floor seating, and can be purchased through Ticketmaster at or 800.745.3000, or at the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce (3306 Pacific Avenue).     Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey- October 15th -16th

    Visit New Jersey’s historic lighthouses and select affiliated museums will host a “Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey” weekend. 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.; rain or shine. Visitors will enjoy the opportunity to tour the state and visit participating land-based lighthouses, 2 museums, and 2 life-saving stations over the weekend, as well as help raise funds for continued lighthouse preservation, education and restoration.     NJBBA’s Great Fall Classic Surf Fishing Tournament- October 15th

    Registration at the Anglesea Fire house, 201 New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood begins at 5 a.m. ASAC sanctioned tournament will run from 7 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Individual tournament (not ASAC sanctioned) starts at 5 a.m. Entry fee $50 per 6 man team and $10 per individual. 856.228.2642 or

    Bonfire on the Beach- October 22nd

    Enjoy a bonfire on the beach from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. at 1st and Surf Avenues in North Wildwood with live entertainment. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase. Admission is $10; children 12 and under are $2. Bring a beach chair and enjoy a great Fall night on the beach! Sponsored by the Anglesea Irish Society and the Greater Wildwood Jaycees. {Rain date is the following Saturday.}

    Indian Summer Beach Fest ~ NEW!- October 22nd

    Festival will be held on the beach at Taylor Avenue from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. featuring food, arts, and music along with a kids hay maze, a Fall Wine Tasting from Shannon Ridge Wine, a Taste of the World dinner tasting from local chefs, a wine and paint party, and showcases from local artists. The festival has free entry, but also ticketed components such as seminars in the Main Tent, zip line, zorb balls and more. All day music will be featured including local bands such as The Bubba Mac Band, the Danbees, Love for Pluto and more. Visit for more information.

    NJ Fall RV Show ~ NEW!- October 21st-23rd

    An all-new RV show will be held inside the Wildwoods Convention Center featuring the best-selling recreational vehicles from Dylans RV Center, Driftwood RV Center, Whitehorse RV, Cross Roads Trailers and Scott Motor Coach RV Center.     Wildwoods Boardwalk Pumpkin Run- October 22nd

    The Wildwoods Boardwalk Pumpkin Run is a ghoulishly fun and exciting family event for all ages Halloween Weekend. This festive boardwalk event offers a 5K run along with a 1 mile family walk, starting at 10 a.m. – rain or shine. Registration begins at 9 a.m. inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes to vie for the prizes in the best dressed categories of Family, Youth, Infant, and Best All Around. All proceeds benefit the Elementary Schools of the Wildwoods. $25 for adults; $10 for those 18 and under. All participants will receive a Pumpkin Run T-shirt. or 609.849.

    North Wildwood Trunk-or-Treat Halloween Block Party -new date!!!!- October 29th

    A family fun event! 5 p.m. vehicle check-in; 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. block party event along Olde NJ Avenue between 2nd & Walnut Avenues. Families are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars. There will be no judging of the children’s costumes, but prizes will be awarded to the vehicles with the best decorations. Registration is free and forms are available at 900 Central Avenue in North Wildwood. Parking for visitors will be available in the municipal lot at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues. 609.522.2955 or

    Wildwood Food Truck Festival ~ NEW!- October 29th

    From 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. up to 20 food trucks will be featured at Fox Park, including Mad Dog Morgans, Steve and Cookies, Philly Fry Guy and more. A beer garden will occupy the center of the event, live music will perform throughout the day, and there will be a hay maze as well as other activities for kids.     Annual Island Pumpkin Fest- October 30th

    The Annual Island Pumpkin Fest will be held at Fox Park and on the Wildwoods Beach from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Craft and food vendors, a bounce house, costume contest & parade (judging from 12pm-1pm), and FREE live entertainment will take place in Fox Park, located directly across from the Wildwoods Convention Center. A hay ride will start on the beach at Andrews Avenue and go to the Great Pumpkin Patch on the beach behind the Wildwoods Convention Center. Fee for hay rides are $7 for children and $3 for parents. Festival will also feature Zombie Monster Truck Rides on the beach and over 40 Farm Tractors along Atlantic Avenue.609.374.6213 or .
