Cape May County Tree Lightings You Don’t Want To Miss This Holiday Season

    Nothing gets you more in the holiday spirit than attending one of the many Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies throughout Cape May. We have compiled a list of the upcoming ones and we hope you will find time to attend one.

    November 28th, 7pm – Lower Township Rotary Tree Lighting and Veteran’s Ceremony
    Start your holiday season off in Lower Township with their Tree Lighting and Veteran’s Ceremony. If able, please bring a donation of non-perishable food items or toys to be collected to help those families in need throughout the community.

    December 1st, 5pm – Middle Township – Cape May County Zoo’s Tree Lighting Celebration
    The Cape May County Zoo’s Tree Lighting Celebration has become a family tradition for many and it’s an event you won’t want to miss this year. Enjoy live festive music, story reading, an ice sculpture demonstration, the Polar Express train ride, bounce house castle and slide, and Santa Claus.

    December 1st, 5:30pm – North Wildwood- Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Christmas Tree Lighting
    From 5:30 to 7:30pm head to Hereford Inlet Lighthouse to enjoy refreshments, music, FREE tours of the lighthouse, and visit with Santa.

    December 1st- 7pm – Cape May Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
    Cape May kicks off the season with its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony this Friday. Enjoy the sounds of carolers; listen to the Lower Cape May Regional High School choir end the night with a special visit from Santa Claus.

    December 1st- 7:30pm – Wildwood- Byrne Plaza Christmas Tree Lighting
    Celebrate the holiday season with the Greater Wildwood Jaycees Christmas Parade followed by the tree lighting ceremony.

    December 6th- 4:45pm – Stone Harbor- Caroling & Tree Lighting
    Gather in front of the Borough Hall after a fun trolley ride filled with songs of the season and take in the ceremonial tree lighting. Don’t miss donuts at the Firehouse with Frosty.

    December 8th-6pm – Woodbine – Christmas Tree Lighting
    Watch the Woodbine Christmas Parade and then join the mayor and Santa in the lighting of the Christmas tree. After the tree lighting head to the Firehouse to enjoy refreshments and visits with Santa.

    December 9th- 4:30pm – Wildwood- Family Holiday Celebration Tree Lighting Ceremony
    The tree lighting in Wildwood will take place during the Wildwood Family Holiday Celebration. Enjoy the Greater Wildwood Jaycees’ Christmas Parade.
